Consumer Guarantees

You have statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law that are in addition to and are not limited by our customer policies, change of mind policy or by any other return or exchange policy, product warranty statement, and statement or comment we might make.

If a consumer guarantee is not met, for example if a product is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for its purpose or is different from its description or sample, then you may be eligible for a refund, exchange or to be compensated for any drop in value of the product (in the case if you keep the product). If the issue with the product is a minor one, we may choose to offer you a free repair of the product.

The consumer guarantees do not apply where, after sale, the product is damaged through misuse or abnormal use.

What happens if my product is faulty?

Ausworkwear & Safety takes pride in supplying brands and goods & Service that are of the highest quality. However, if for any reason you find a fault with one of the products we would like to help you resolve the problem.

It is import that you the customer process any return in a timely manner; within at least 14 days of the fault occurring.

Ausworkwear will also process warranty claims in a timely manner, however in some cases the Brand supplier may want to view the product prior to any faulty product claim being approved and processed. In this case please be aware that this will add some extra time to the claim process, and we thank you for your understanding.

For approved warranty claims Ausworkwear & Safety will ensure all costs associated with returned goods, including delivery, is at no expense to you.

Individual brands provide for warranties that apply to their products and may differ from product to product. If you require more information regarding the warranty provided on a specific product feel free to contact us.

What happens next?

Ausworkwear & Safety provides four (3) warranty payment options:

1. Replacement of the original item with the same item (subject to stock availability)
2. Store Credit to your Ausworkwear & Safety online account (If you purchased without an account we will set one up for you)
3. Refund to your original method of payment (e.g. Credit Card or PayPal)

On occasion, your requested replacement item may have sold out. If your replacement is not available, we will contact you to discuss another suitable product, otherwise your online account or account with which you paid (e.g. credit card, PayPal) will be refunded.
